Vision Statement
Members of the Waterloo Region Occasional Teachers’ Local have a sense of pride and identity as Occasional Teachers and work toward developing a dynamic, proactive and visionary community of learners.
Priorities
The Waterloo Region Occasional Teachers’ Local will strive to:
– negotiate, uphold, and educate members about the Collective Agreement
– encourage greater involvement in the work and activities of the local and develop effective leaders;
– establish and maintain open communication with members, the board, and the public, while providing services to meet the needs of a diverse membership;
– promote and grow the relationships of the Waterloo Region Occasional Teachers’ Local with other partners in education and the community.
